Don't You Hate It When...
A Poem About the Lovely Moments in Life

Don't you hate it when you're watching your new favorite show, but didn't realize it was the final episode of the season;
Don't you hate it when that season cliff hangs without a good reason;
Don't you hate it when you stub your toe especially in the dark;
Don't you hate it when it hurts so bad, but it doesn't even leave a mark;
Don't you hate it when someone points at something and says "Hey LOOK";
Don't you hate it when it turns out to be a book;
Don't you hate it when people wait in line, and stand way too close;
Don't you hate it more when it's people who refuse to breathe through their nose;
Don't you hate it when something says it's free, but it isn't;
Don't you hate it when it cost thirty dollars in order to ship it;
Don't you hate it when you're trying to say, "my fault";
Don't you hate it when it comes out as nonsense like, "my baault";
Don't you hate it when life gives you lemons instead of sweet tea;
Don't you hate it when it's obvious you'd rather have wine and cheese;
Don't you hate it when something is over that you never wanted to end;
Don't you hate it when it was something you had to pay for to attend;
Don't you hate it when you're eating something delicious, and bite your lip;
Don't you hate it when it's really hot salsa that your eating on tortilla chips;
Don't you hate it when you're on a roll with a poem of moments you hate
Don't you hate it when you have to go, because of something bad that you ate;
-the end
