Don’t say “it’s not you, it’s me”

You can’t lie you see

We can’t be history

This was meant to be

This is the best you can do?

Already through

Gave up after just a preview

Felt it wasn’t true

Was I not adequate?

This ain’t etiquette

Know you’ve gone through some shit

So you put me through it?

Push me aside

Took me for a ride

You just lied and denied

This isn’t dignified

You want this to end

I want it to mend

But you won’t bend

No longer even friends

No goodbyes

Only my cries

Look me in the eyes

And cut all ties

heartbreak
