Don’t Die Before You’re Dead
Don’t let the years dissolve your fire,
Don’t dim your dreams or tame desire.
The clock may tick, the hours pass,
But life still flows, as rivers glass.
Don’t bury laughter, lock away joy,
Or treat your spirit like a toy.
Each moment’s breath, a gift to take,
A chance to love, to heal, to make.
Don’t let the world declare you done,
While there’s a sky, while shines the sun.
Your heart still beats, your soul’s not fled—
Don’t die before you’re truly dead.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
