Don’t call me beautiful

If you’re not going to stay.

I swear it’s

Ten times worse

Then the boys

I sleep with now

Who don’t call me beautiful

They call me

Whatever they want

Until they’re done

And I crawl out of bed

And go home

You called me beautiful

Why would you do that

I’m watching you now

On some other girls arm

And you probably

Call her beautiful

Too

But I guess you mean it with her

Because you’re going to

Stay

I didn’t need kindness

I didn’t need pity

I needed you to mean it

When you said

I was enough

But if I was enough

Why are you

With her

I was ready

I would’ve gotten on a plane

So fast

But it wasn’t enough.

I wasn’t enough.

Despite how many times

You said I was-

you’re actions spoke louder.

heartbreak
