Don't Belittle Dandelion and Clover
They feed the bees, on whom you depend for honey

Under my feet
grow weeds — dandelion and clover.
People don’t think highly of them.
They’re even labeled noxious.
But these plants bloom,
oozing nectar,
feeding the bees —
who then make honey.
Humans are willing to pay
a high price
for that bee-made magic.
So, dare not belittle anything.
You may consume the honey,
but you can’t give a
single drop of nectar
to the bees.
The dandelion and clover can —
remember that.

They are resilient.
They need little —
but bloom all over,
supporting the pollinators.
They don’t need any
bad name from humans
who know consumption the best
and grade flora and fauna
as per their benefits.

Why do you kill flowers then? Bees need them all. The bees could have made nectar and pollinate other flowers from that dandelion you cut. You sacrificed a dandelion to take a panoramic picture for clicks, to then throw it away. Why do you kill the flowers if you don’t really care about protecting them? Why?
