Dogs

Live different fates

By Seema PatelPublished 3 days ago 1 min read

Some dogs are picked from the streets,

sent into space, without consent,

where they die within minutes.

Sorry, Laika.

Some are poisoned

because they are considered a nuisance

in bustling cities,

go see, developing countries,

of South-east Asia.

Some walk with Buddhist monks

on peace missions, like Aloka.

Some live with homeless men,

standing at intersections,

asking for alms,

or resting under the fig.

Some are called children

with regular toys subscription.

Some sit in the passenger seats

of luxury cars

and go visit national parks.

Same species sure,

but different fates,

why will they not see the world

through different lenses?

That's life.

IDK what I'd do without ours. Probably save money, that's for sure. But they are such good companions, loving to take walks and give love
