Dogs and Angels Love Christmas Too
The lights are twinkling, the night is still,
A wagging tail, a heart to fill.
Dogs by the fire, angels above,
Christmas is joy, and Christmas is love.
A soft paw taps, a halo gleams,
Warmth and wonder, like sweet dreams.
Stockings hung, the stars so bright,
Both dogs and angels guard the night.
In their own way, they share the cheer,
Faithful friends, and heaven near.
So as we gather, one thing is true,
Dogs and angels love Christmas too.
