Does This Ink Blot Make My Ass Look Big?

Body Dysmorphia

By Gerard DiLeoPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read
"Don't look at me!"

Jet black darkness

Reflecting back no colors

Is the temperament

Pareidolia seeks

.

Curves and jerky continuity

Belie the lies of fluidity

Fencing in the beckoning darkness

When the vacuum peaks

.

Murky and menacing

Inviting but cold

Resisting but bewitching

What Rorschach mirrors wreak!

.

How I present my ink

To others, unsightly

Ugliness inside and out

From a blotter of shrieks

Oooo, I learnt two new words, pareidolia and belie! This was such a fantastic poem!

I love this, and i love it even more because I had to google Pareidolia!

Arse or sideways boobies. I would love to take a Rorschach test. See if I am barmy. So poetical is this poem. What D.J. Says also.

Artfully executed--I especially liked the deliberate double negative, "Belie the lies of fluidity."

  • Great poem! Well written!
