Does it matter what church, there’s only one God

One God Made It All

Does it matter what church, there’s only one God

Walls divide,

bells ring,

names are spoken,

but heaven is wide.

One god listens,

in silence or song,

one god answers,

to all who call.

Do candles matter,

do robes decide,

when the heart kneels down,

bare in its need.

The prayer is the same,

the tear is the same,

the hope is the same,

in every language.

We quarrel over doors,

we quarrel over rules,

yet the sun shines equal

on every roof.

Stone or wood,

tent or hall,

what matters is faith,

what matters is love.

So what church you choose

does not make more,

does not make less,

for there is only one god.

He has no borders,

he wears no name,

he listens to all,

without a wall.

Faith is not narrow,

faith is not small,

one god is enough,

for every soul’s call.

If the voice is true,

if the prayer is pure,

then heaven opens,

and no door shuts.

Exactly, Miss Marie, exactly. There is only one God. Why is there so many religions to celebrate him. Great job.
