Do You Think That Good Guys Finish Last?

It is the old adage, of kindness versus selfishness. It sounds good to be kind and giving, but is it really? Some people have a tendency towards kindness. It make them feel good, and I think it is even in their DNA to feel that way.

I was always a good guy, and I taught my children the importance of kindness.

My oldest son took it to heart, and where did that get him? I will tell you where it got him, twelve bullets and the end of his life. He was slaughtered like a sacrificial lamb, at 44 years of age.

Kindness is a strange phenomenon, people praise it, but very few practice it. They like to think they are kind and giving, but when it comes right down to it, they are not willing to put themselves out there, or part with their money.

I consider it an imbalance of sorts. Over Empathy at it finest.

I Always Was A Good Guy

I was, and it is a thankless job. Is kindness and doing for others a dying art?

I Decided I Would Join The Majority Of Mankind

I will have to work on it, and have a personality change. I think that people like people who do kind things, however, they are usually people that are self centered and selfish.

I have one rule, going forward. If it isn't for the two special people in my life, it isn't for anyone.
