The photo above, I took in my front yard. I had it in my memory garden for my son Rick. Just looking at the beautiful yellow flowers makes me smile.

There is nothing like beautiful flowers to get your dopamine going,

More beautiful flowers, and this one is a beauty. How could anyone get tired of this site, and these beautiful flowers.

The visual appeal of flowers,with their colors, forms, and scents, is inherently rewarding. This appreciation activates the brains reward circuits, responsible for processing pleasureful stimuli, leading to the release of dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin.

A Rose Never Gets Old

The Rose never gets old, and in fact it is the most popular flower throughout the world. Your brain knows what is beautiful and what is frieghtening. The Rose is beautiful no matter what country you live in or where you go. You might say the Rose is boss.

Daffodils

These are daffodils that are just starting to bloom. These are the first flowers of Spring, and they assure us all is not lost to the harsh winter season. As you can tell in this photo, not even the grass has turned green yet. However, the daffodil leads the season off to renewal of plant life, and in all its beauty.

This is a flower bush that sits curbside in the development where we live. I do not know what kind it is. If you recognize the plant, please leave a comment. Although, I did not recognize what type of flower it was, I was struck by its beauty, so today I stopped and took a photo of it. I find it strikenly beautiful. How about you?
