"Do you even miss me?" she asked, her voice rembling the phone,
He sighed, miles apart, feeling so alone.
In the glow of our screens, where messages are typed,
Lies a love so cold, in silence it's swiped.
No warmth of touch, no tender embrace,
Just digital echoes, in a virtual space.
Once, our hearts beat in sync, a rhythm so true,
But time and distance cast a shadow, and love withdrew.
Texts once whispered, now hang in the air,
Unsent, unread, lost in despair.
The fire that once blazed, now a flickering light,
Memories of warmth, fading into the night.
Hands that once held tight, now drift apart,
A chasm of frost, between each heart.
Eyes that once sparkled with passion's glow,
Now reflect the cold, of a screen's blue glow.
Laughter that once filled the air with cheer,
Now replaced by silence, and a single tear.
We walk on paths, parallel yet alone,
In a world of ice, where love is overthrown.
Dreams we built, now shattered and scattered,
Fragments of a past, that no longer mattered.
Yet in this cold, a lesson lies,
In the frost that chills, and the tear that dries.
Love, like seasons, can fade and renew,
A cycle of warmth, and coldness too.
For in the heart's winter, a seed may lie,
Waiting for spring, to reach for the sky.
A chance for rebirth, for love to grow,
From the frozen ground, where cold winds blow.
So let us not mourn, the love that's lost,
But cherish the warmth, despite the frost.
Do you even miss me?
