DNA has never failed me
A silly little love sonnet about DNA
By Anna GracePublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

I have returned from yet another
Failed attempt at meaningful connection
After each excursion I feel smothered
And hope that the past event will never be mentioned
If only I could approach these events
As a puzzle challenging me to solve
But people are just puzzling and dense
With issues not easy to resolve
If only I had a code to follow
A blueprint to guide me on my way
I could unwind a persons thoughts and feelings
Like a strand of DNA
If transcription and translation would come smoothly;
I could understand you and give myself to thee

I write random poetry about emotions and stuff cause I can't express them. I also have a horrible dark sense of humor. Have Fun!
