Daring me to leave this town

Ive been stagnant since he asked for my hand

Staring into space

The bad butterflies in my heart start to race

Revolution drums beat in my chest

Across the universe plays while my minds a mess

Can't keep my focus or my diamond ring

The pain I carry fits perfectly in the palm of another's hand

Indecision to call it off

One last chance to run

Now i'm kissing my heavenly distraction under the sun

love poems
