I'll meet you in my dreams to dance again

Do you ever sit back and think of me too?

Incredulously, I shake my head

Serendipity long left me.

Thunderstorms roar and yet people run to greet them.

Rivers overflow and wage war on their innocent surroundings and yet people still embrace them.

And yet here I sit, watching you from afar.

Counting the days from the last time I heard your voice when it was directed at me.

Telling myself I'm just your own personal natural disaster.

Intentions only go so far before our intended path splits

Oh, but what I wouldn't do to sew all we were back together.

Nonsense, I'm nothing but the past for you and you're nothing but a dream to me.
