Disease

poetry

By Audie EdwardsPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

The toxicity, this disease

Scratches at the surface.

I will not let it out

Cuts are so deep.

When I bleed it see’s

I am weak.

Oh wait what is that?

Can these people around

Hear the screams?

Look into my eyes,

Do you see my silent cries?

Insanity this must be.

My wheels keep spinning.

While trying to keep my capability of moving.

The toxicity, this disease

Scratches at the surface

I will not let it out.

Cuts are so deep.

When I bleed it see’s

That I am weak.

Fear tries to take over.

Feeling, of not being good enough for anyone.

A disappointment, my motivation

My drive, not good enough

Oh wait, what is that?

Can these people around

hear the screams?

Look, into my eyes

Do you see my silent cries?
