I fell drowning, in over my head.
Alone I tried to climb.
Like quick sand deeper I fell.
The pits of Hell was opening up
To swallow me whole.
Looking down its flames are blazing hot.
The screams are unbearable.
Leave please do not make this your home.
Screams of these wanting to be realized
Still small voice judgement has been set.
Trying to reach on to the smallest vine.
To pull myself up to stand on my own.
That same still small voice.
I am the only one true vine.
Looking up at a man who had holes in his hands.
Reached out to me.
His name I cried out with tears of Joy.
Jesus, the fear had left me.
This is not a home I had set for you.
This was not a home I had set for them.
I am the one true vine, you can be set free.
I died to set you free.
That is how much I love you.
Alone I never wanted you to walk.
I want to take all your burdens and carry them.
So you can stay focused on me.
Jesus, I cry.
Jesus, I shout.
My Lord, my savior forever.
