A poem about waiting

Waiting for things to get better.

Waiting for a sense of 'happiness' -- even if, fleeting.

Waiting for more funds to enter my bank account.

Waiting to get swept off my feet.

Waiting for my family to get their shit together.

Waiting for my family to stop nagging me.

Waiting for that feeling of gratitude, that somehow, everything is right in this world.

Waiting for the 'all clear' from the Doctors, that nothing is wrong... for another year.

Waiting for that lottery win.

Waiting for that new car (and miraculous funds).

Waiting for a day to get away.

Waiting for a sense of true autonomy.

Waiting for the sun to shine (whilst I'm writing, it is a rainy day).

Waiting for that sense of ease, of freedom; nobody else is the boss of me and there are no detrimental (financial) consequences of following my bliss!
