As a kid, I remember pretend-playing family.
All along, I just wanted to be in love.
Even then, the seed in my garden-heart just wanted to bloom.
All along, I just wanted to embrace someone.
I grew up and did the best I could,
but despite my efforts, she discovered the arms of another man,
and my world fell through, disbanded.
One day, I believe I’ll wake up and know it was all just a nightmare,
but that just hasn’t happened yet,
or maybe I’m just still sleeping.
God’s plans are better,
despite personal circumstances,
despite the agony and disappointment.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12 NKJV Some seasons are to give us trials and to test us so that we become stronger and some seasons are to build our testimony. Spring is for planting, summer is for nurturing, fall is for harvesting and winter is for using the fruit of the other three seasons to prepare for spring again. Your best season is within touching distance with a love beyond... not a season, but a gift from God that was given long ago. His plan. 😇
Sometimes God’s delays are not denials—they’re hidden gardens waiting for the right season. “And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.” (Qur’an 93:5)🌸
