All hail Caesar,

So mighty in all his glory.

Bow and kneel,

Before the hero of myth and story.

Come and greet,

The victor at the gates.

Worship and adore,

The mortal favoured by the Fates.

Drink and feast,

In his welcoming marble home.

Act and recite,

Immortalise him in your poem.

Tribute and honour,

He who allows you to live.

Pay and tithe,

The reason you have anything to give.

Quiver and quake,

At the feet of your benevolent king.

Beg and praise,

Let him hear his subjects sing.

Fear and cower,

The general who ravaged and sacked.

Join and follow,

The leader charging the attacked.

Run and flee,

From his righteous terror.

Cry and mourn,

As his sword corrects your error.

Pray and offer,

For he is more god than Zeus.

Submit and obey,

Surrender your will for his use.

All hail Caesers,

Who lay dying in all ends.

Warned and betrayed,

Left with more wounds than friends.
