Dia Tribe

A poem

By Jamie CrotingerPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

The beauty, the symmetry, the cycle;

And all I have to say is…

Your brilliance bright like a sun at the core

Boiling furious under the mantel, the mountains,

A few thermal fingers shimmer

Up through the cracks!

So shut up man! shut up!

Just shut up! Just shut up!

Don’t even try – just shut up!

Just shut up! Just shut up!

Silence now and suddenly,

There’s a cry from my sleep.

Deep inside the timelessness,

What’s the sanity in solitude?

Is a static structure boring? Too peaceful to be lasting?

While the world around is dancing

My inner ocean starts to freeze.

We need to wake.

What the learned knows is

breaking it's heart, of course

It didn't teach them enough not to feel.

I use to say that my world was all in my head.

But fuck I care.

But when you speak..

The suddenly..

Fastens around my face and arms

like robots.

It's my god in your mouth!

So you don't get it but I do!

The demons are just the byproduct of

being misunderstood because

Everyones the center.
