Up Here

A Poem

By Jamie CrotingerPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

My head's in the moon.

There's nothing up here.

Dry and deep.

I cannot sleep.

Hello creep.

Finding my dreams

Is a maze it doesnt matter if I guide myself

through or follow a string.

I don't know where I'm going.

City deep and trees creep

They tear them out like butterflies.

Shiny and new.

There are no hyper tears

There is no wife

There is no face book

There are no squares in your eyes

Hearts in my eyes

I'm five minutes away from being

all the time

somehow...

This is just

Your hourglasses

My eyes see you in between it's hips.

Silent as a god.

Silent as heat.

Until it's roar!
