Detective Brown's Underground Cartel Crusade

Q5

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Detective Brown was on the prowl,

A drug cartel to take down, was her goal,

She'd heard of their dealings, and knew they were vile,

She set out to stop them, with a fierce smile.

She gathered her team, and they set to work,

Following leads, and going berserk,

They found the hideout, deep underground,

The cartel was there, and they were bound.

They burst in, guns at the ready,

The cartel was caught, and felt unsteady,

They fought back, but it was in vain,

Detective Brown's team was too much to sustain.

They rounded them up, and took them in,

The city was safe, and free from sin,

Detective Brown felt a sense of pride,

She'd foiled the cartel, and set things aside.

But as she looked at the faces of the guilty,

She couldn't shake off the feeling, it was dirty,

For she knew that there were more out there,

And the fight against crime, was one that would always be fair.
