Detective Brown was on the case,
An urgent matter, to solve with grace,
Her neighbour, an elderly lady,
Had lost her cat, and was feeling quite shady.
The cat, a fluffy ball of fur,
Had gone missing, and was a blur,
Detective Brown offered her aid,
To help find the cat, before it was too late.
She searched high and low, near and far,
Following clues, like a shooting star,
She found a paw print, and a tuft of fur,
And followed the trail, like a purr.
She searched through the alleys and the streets,
Asking around, for any meets,
And finally, she found the cat,
Hiding in a box, like that.
The lady was overjoyed, and hugged her tight,
And Detective Brown felt a sense of delight,
For she had helped someone in need,
And her neighbour's cat was safe indeed.
She went back home, with a smile on her face,
Feeling content, in her own space,
For sometimes, the smallest of cases,
Can bring the biggest of graces.
