Detective Brown's Egyptian Holiday Halt

V6

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Detective Brown was on a holiday break,

Exploring ancient tombs and all its mystique,

She stumbled upon a site that took her breath,

A sealed Egyptian tomb that caught her eye with depth.

She entered in, with wonder in her heart,

Her curiosity sparked by this newfound part,

And as she explored, she saw a glowing light,

A mobile phone, as if in flight.

It seemed so strange, in a place so old,

A mystery that left her heart so cold,

She picked it up and pressed the home key,

And gasped in shock as the screen lit up brightly.

The phone was new, its battery still charged,

A message on the screen, unaltered, unchanged,

It read "You're the one, the chosen one,

Find the truth, it has begun."

Detective Brown, her senses on alert,

Wondered if this was some strange sort of covert,

She had no case, but her mind was on fire,

With questions and thoughts, she could not retire.

And so, she kept the phone, the mystery to solve,

A quest for truth that only she could involve,

A strange encounter in a tomb so old,

An unsolved puzzle that would never grow old.
