Detective Brown was on the case,
A robbery had taken place,
A bank was held up, by a band of thieves,
Wearing balaclava masks, as if they were wreaths.
She raced to the scene, with her gun in hand,
Ready to face the bandit band,
They fired shots, as she charged in,
But she was quick, and her aim was true and thin.
She ducked and weaved, dodging bullets with grace,
Returning fire, with a determined face,
The bandits were shocked, by her skill and might,
But she took them down, with all her might.
One by one, they fell to the ground,
Their plans for robbery, now unsound,
Detective Brown emerged victorious,
The bank was safe, and the thieves were curious.
She took off their masks, one by one,
To reveal the faces of the scum,
But to her surprise, they were all familiar,
People she knew, from her neighbourhood, regular.
The robbery was planned, to pay off their debt,
But now, they'd pay the price, with regret,
Detective Brown couldn't shake off the feeling,
That some people will do anything, for a quick earning.
