Destruction of the end

losing everything, he lost himself too

By Karan w. Published about a year ago 1 min read

He doesn’t desire pearls in his tears,
Nor does he crave the soothing breeze of heaven.
He doesn’t long for a heart of gold,
Nor for skin sculpted from moonlight.

What he lost, he wishes to regain,
But what is lost, lost forever
In search of it, the child stepped into the river,
And as he drowned, someone carried him back home.

The child’s wail devoured his life,
An innocent soul was seen writhing in pain.
That separation turned into a toxic void,
And the king of countless dreams died of hunger

A/N:- This is entirely fictional, and I don't know why I wrote it. I didn't want to post it because it felt very strange to me. But still, I am curious to know your thoughts. Thank you so much for taking the time to read it.
