Dental Mission Trip
A chance to give back to so many others during the summer
Summers are not just meant for the taking;
To spend a week long on a mission trip,
Adds so much value to life with giving,
As many faces leave with a numb lip.
The heartfelt smiles of appreciation,
The hugs, the gifts, feelings of gratitude,
Warms the heart as the sun heats the nation,
A job well done with a great attitude.
But the conditions aren’t always the best:
Days spent working from sunrise to sunset,
Having power and water is a test.
At the end of each day we then reset.
The food is tasty, beaches just stunning,
We will return. Mother nature’s calling.
