Deliver Us

I'm still here

By Hunter BlakelyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I've been trying so hard for so long that I don't know what it's like to be still.

Some days I want to end myself so I won't have to feel.

I've got good people, so I'm still here.

I want to live a good life, and I hope I will.

But some days I just want to end myself so I don't have to feel.

So I make memories with the ones I love while I'm still here.

I'm still here.

I choose life in hopes of the good life, though I know not how it feels.

If this life is an illusion, I'm ready to pull back the veil.

God deliver us, if you're there.
