If you follow the word, you'll be needed for Scrabble.
If you fault all you heard, you'll be living like an asshole.

Note: this poem was written about a very personal moment in my life. I met my half-sister when I was living and working in Montréal as a grad student. I saw her photograph when I was a teenager, but it was many years before we met. I love this! Especially the frostbite/heatstroke bit. It's very similar in the Midwest (see our recent tornado one day, blizzard the next lol). Great writing!
I love these poetic ponderings. News to me about Canadian weather. Sounds rough. As for the stories in the NT, I dared not question that one when I was growing up. Nope, not a good look for the teenager who was already putting her foot in her mouth regularly. LOL These are great. Please write some more!!
