Bright lights

In a dream

There you were

Light against light

Electric in its intensity

Blinding like the sun

My greedy eyes were sore with want of looking at you

In your ethereal world

We held hands as you showed me a landscape of your imaginings

Hippy juice beetle bug

Illuminated flowers vibrating neon hues

Bee Gees sounds surrounding and serenading us

Everything alive and full of your joy

This is where you live now

A place of love and peace

I asked to stay

But you said “no”

You only came to show me

The light peeking through the shadows of this world

sad poetry

About the Creator

Sherry Ryan

I have ink in my veins. It is a curse and a joy. Reality makes it challenging to devote myself to the pen. I have finally succumbed to my daemon blood and hereby commit myself to making it the reality of my life. Perhaps I will find peace.
