Deception

Veiled Truths

In the land of shadows, where truth's hard to see,

There's a web of lies, a tangled spree.

A fake smile, a mask of charm,

Tricks and lies, causing harm.

In our shared world, where we thought we'd thrive,

You hid your dark side, a sneaky jive.

Whispers of lies, sharp and cruel,

You blamed me, played me like a fool.

On life's big stage, where truth's in sight,

In actions, words, what feels right.

Be alert, don't be deceived,

Truth hides in whispers, often perceived.

So let's stay sharp, stay wise and clear,

In the web of lies, let's hold truth dear.

For in every choice, in every glance,

Truth prevails, given half a chance.
