The Absurdities of Life

If through our intellect, innovation, and inequity, we ever become blinded,
Let us seek wisdom and let us be reminded:
That mother earth sustains and destroys herself at once — birth and new growth punctuate death and disaster;
That a flower, a mushroom, or the waters of an old plant long fermented can, to the mind, be a master;
That only through the faults of our souls and the ones beneath our soles are we ever truly capable of being divided.
