a poem on what makes me, me, for pride
By Ronelle GreenPublished 5 years ago • Updated 3 years ago • 1 min read
like the sky and sea
a vastness
a mystery
an all-consumption
a constant evolution
an inability to stay still
but an inevitability to stay the same
creature(s) of habit
many meanings in motion
sensual
a cool, subtle seduction
a calm
a depth; like a lagoon
a lightness; like a balloon
afloat
a flow
feminine, but masculine
rising, like a tide
enveloped by all there is
at all times
an unknown, but governed universally
guided unconditionally, with certainty
this - me
and likewise, sexuality
like waves. like the sun's rays
ever changing, ever present
buoyant, and larger than life
like the sky and sea. carriers and cradles of creation
a dance
a rhythm
and blues
