*a five senses poem for the sensational challenge

in competing waves of bright, sickly flowers and disinfectant
churning my stomach and greasing my puckered yellowed skin
with drips that crusted in the salt-white corners of my mouth
while my eyes milked the last colour of the beige world
and my heart's trembling green ping slow e d... s l o W e d... s L o w e ... stop.
