Dear White People, Dear Black People,

Stop looking at me as either too Black and tough or not Black enough.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

Stop preaching stereotypical fables of me and putting ignorant labels on me.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

Stop saying my Blackness comes with a certain form of walk and speech of talk.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

When you’re categorizing my fate you’re only treating me like the racism you claim to hate.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

Both of your races have made me glad. Made me mad, made me sad and even made me bad.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

You both are the same inside. Carrying solidarity and shame inside.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

Different on the surface, yet equal. Both people have the same capacity for good and evil.

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

How far do we have to fall before tragedy gives us all a wake up call?

Dear White People, Dear Black People,

It’s quite simple and plain to see that you are all the same to me.
