Dear Pain,

Within you, there are claws.

You'll never know the hurt you cause.

You make it hard to see the light.

Day by day it's harder to fight.

Every day, I start to cry.

No matter how hard I always try,

it always feels as if you've won.

I still continue to not be done.

Because of the pain,

it feels like there's rain.

It's making me drown

but I try not to be down.

I continue to fight

knowing I'll be alright.

It will take time

but I'll be just fine.

Sincerely, Me

Poetry that rhymes seems to be out of fashion since forever, and I hate that! GIVE ME MORE RHYMING POEMS! This one has a lovely rhythm, it almost sounds cheerful except the content really isn't. Jarring and clever.
