Dear Ocean

A letter to the internet

By BsparkxPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

To the ocean that is the internet,

It proves challenging to find shelter in your waters.

Lately you feel more like a canyon.

When I call out to you all I hear is my own voice echoed back.

I have found a few homes, but they have crumbled with time.

Solid rock eroded to specs of sand.

I always enjoyed the feel of sand,

gentle

falling through my fingers.

I am not accustomed to the hard stone that scrapes at my palms when I try to climb higher,

But I am ready Ocean.

I am ready to dive in;

abandon the coast I have clung onto.

I am ready Ocean;

Will you catch me?
