Dear Muse

Dear Muse,

I write to you in earnest, my heart bursting with emotion,

For you have been the source of my inspiration and devotion.

You've bestowed upon me a gift that I could never repay,

The ability to weave words in a poetic display.

Through trials and tribulations, you've remained by my side,

Guiding me through darkness, your light a constant guide.

You lifted me up when I was feeling low,

Your depiction of life’s beauty, let my creativity flow.

In the wee hours of the morning, when filled with despair,

You whisper in my ear, reminding me I'm rare.

Your voice soothes my soul, with each word you speak,

My pen glides across the page, ink flowing like a creek.

You've gave me the courage to share my words with the world,

To paint pictures with syllables, my stories unfurled.

I am forever grateful, for your gentle touch,

That has inspired me to create, to love, and to trust.

So thank you, dear Muse, for being my constant friend,

For being my mentor, my guide, until the very end.

I'll continue to write, sing, and dance with my pen,

And cherish our relationship, now and forever again.
