Dear alien man,

Let me put a slice of pizza in your hand.

Let me giggle with great delight,

As your face lights up from your first bite.

I could cook you your second dish

or teach you how to fish.

We could sip coffee as the day had just begun.

to the beauty of a rising sun.

There’s a street where we could play hopscotch,

and oh, the television programs that we could watch.

A table on which to prop your feet.

and relax until it's time to sleep.

There’s a soft pillow on which to rest your head.

When you sleep on your first bed.

When you first stuff your face

With pies, cookies, or crumbly cakes.

And your figure begins to girth.

I will say, welcome to planet Earth.

To sleep and rise, and then to dream,

To learn what it means to be a human being.
