Dear God, I’m Sorry I Get Jealous Sometimes

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read

Dear God,

I’m sorry that I get jealous sometimes of families who seem functionally stable.

I should be thankful for what I’ve got.

Dear God,

I’m sorry that I get jealous sometimes of parents who have kids who look up to them like they’re heroes.

I should be thankful for what I’ve got.

Dear God,

I’m sorry that I get jealous sometimes of other people who are physically fit.

I should be thankful for what I’ve got.

Jealousy is such a human thing, but hey, at least you're self-aware enough to bring it to God instead of letting it fester. I bet if God wrote back, He’d say, “I hear you, and I love you just as you are.”✨😇

Methinks God understands our proclivity to human nature implicitly.
