Dear Delaware,

When people call you boring,

It shouldn’t be seen as an insult.

As folks go on snoring,

You, The Blue Hen State, are a gem in a vault.

It is because the business is true,

That you thrive.

Though the companies are few,

There remains incorporated ones that strive.

Yes, you have Chancery Courts.

And you have no sales tax.

You are not known for major sports,

But you boast beaches for folks to relax.

You are a place that shows off schools.

The education system is completely sound.

You dismiss all the various sets of fools.

You’re the greatest state around!

Love,

Your Native Son
