Dear best Friend

Dear my best friend,

Right now I am waiting on my sales figures for I am Bexley. Resurgence Novels has not paid me anything yet but is going to start paying me my royalties and bonus payments (from my contract and otherwise) I believe in late July.

I am not sure how much I am getting as of yet, mainly due to not knowing my sales numbers and reads. I am still working on my Bexley sequel. I'm at almost 19,000 words now! Ahh! It's a long journey ahead.

My Patheos column job is going well. I can only write one article a week. Sometimes two if I am really focused. It takes me more hours to research the article than to write it but I enjoy writing about art history, especial religious art. I have gotten paid for a bonus article I created on Top Christian movies in 2023, which was a fun article to write. I truly believe you'd be excelling at this columnist position!

I am missing our collaborations so very much!! I loved talking to you of your characters and stories. I miss reading your stories.

I never tired of listening to you. It was intriguing and a fascinating journey to see how your narrative would change or grow.

In any case, I just miss you. I miss our conversations in general. You are a wonderful friend and an excellent poet and a talented writer.

I know that you struggle with making it perfect. It's okay to make it just right, just know that it is such a work of art when you create it!
