I loved what you said about how you would rather be authentic than being a camouflage writer! That is so true. It makes me think of how I found my true author voice. How I used to write only in the male, first person perspective, but now I feel comfortable writing male & female perspectives.

I think that the hinting at a thriller/drama and having the romance overpower the structure of the story is an Excellent idea. I feel that too much drama or thriller aspects can weaken the romance too, so that is a good thing.

Childish behavior can be used in a character arc to create depth on a personal level for a character. I think if it's a part of their growth or destruction it can be compelling. I feel overall childish attitudes or behaviors can come from anyone, so it can be realistic when written in a way that is relatable. I know you are good at writing complex themes in a relatable way (like how you had characters explain fantasy concepts in an everyday, down to earth conversation anyone could understand).

I really appreciate your support and feedback as well! I hope you like my article on Notre-Dame! It's not my best but I liked writing it.

Anyway, I couldn't find the right tone for Bexley yet but I am going to try soon lol. She's anxious and worried about her family and trying to juggle too many things at once.
