Deafening Soliloquy
An Acrostic Poem
By Cindy CalderPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read

Silence is hushed yet deafening
Intrepid soliloquy to muted isolation
Lingering to nullify the crux of cause
Endless provocation of mindlessness
Numbing profundity of disassociation
Ceasing never to oust substantiality
Eagerly awaiting life’s demise.

Cindy, this is beautifully penned! Well done!
Captivating! :)
Where the cause is cancelled, the death of the egoistic person arrives, and the soul is reborn.
Whoa!!! That was profound and accurate. Well done!
Dear Cc - I've tried to pronounce "Soliloquy" (3) times really fast with no success. Amazing how your Poetic words seem to flow with such ease. When I wrote 'The Llama & Koala' it took weeks to put together since it was so much out of my normal comfort zone of Sarcastic Silly Shorts/and Goofy Sketches. Cindy, your gracious support while I was down was so appreciated - Your lovely messages to those within the VillageBucket are so selfless and real. Jk.in.l.a. Wow - beautifully constructed! This is stunning :)
Each line delivers its own impact and is skillfully wrought!
This was so emotional and veryyyyy beautifully written! Loved your Acrostic!
I love it. I have two favourite lines that speak about my association to silence: "Numbing profundity of disassociation" "Eagerly awaiting life’s demise."
This is very philosophical and sad, Cindy. “Eagerly awaiting life’s demise” is a powerful line.
Each line is impressive! Loved “Numbing profundity of disassociation”.
Intrepid is such a good word 😁
amazing, and so true.
Agreed. Silence doesn't address the root of problems. Well said, CIndy.
