Day Independence Day
The sky erupts in fiery bloom,
A nation’s joy cuts through the gloom.
Red, white, and blue, a banner flies,
A symbol bold beneath the skies.
The echoes of a distant fight,
For freedom claimed on that fateful night.
Voices raised, a daring plea,
To break the chains and dare to be free.
Fields once filled with smoke and fear,
Now host the laughter of those held dear.
The price was steep, the cost was pain,
Yet liberty’s song still remains.
The flag waves high, the people cheer,
Remembering those who brought us here.
Their courage lit the path we tread,
battles fought, through blood they bled.
So let the fireworks light the air,
A beacon of hope, a nation’s prayer.
For on this day, we stand and say,
We honor freedom—Independence Day.
