Dawlat-e-Filastin

a cry far away

By Touseef AhmedPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Hardly her breath could

turn any old,

The winds that blew

became so cold,

Fear and Trauma ran

through the streets,

While Thunder engulfed

every shore,

Hope became a

shattered glass,

Murmuring ‘Peace’

and ‘Mercy’, alas!

Courage was shackled

and choked to death,

While Diginity shrieked

and bled for help,

Tears rolled, while

chaos unfold,

And cries were heard,

Saying, “No More !”

Bombs were dropped,

Skins were peeled,

Alas, none was there to

stop this wheel !
