Mother Nature was painfully beautiful at times ravaging trees and homes with the slightest wind

But she was also astonishingly gorgeous

when she kissed our cheek with a single glow of sunlight

radiating through storm clouds to show

that dark days are not here eternally but only for a moment

Darkness is not eternal for we coexist with a light and love

that one day will make way for what we truly deserve

I once became darkness itself, a true embodiment of hatred and bitterness

But with time as with all things I’ve become more than what intrusive thoughts had me believe

O’ water which flows through the hands of Gods. Do you feel? Do you hurt? Do you love?

I only wish to be you for you go with wind and carry not which you can’t control.

I will drown my sorrows with what you take away from here then maybe one day I will be you.

I’ve let go and let the water take me to the Gods.
