dark flames cocoon my colorless body
Dark flames clean out the sin
As I pray for an Angel of mercy to take me away
Dark flames that rise a Dark Angel from my ashes
Her skin so red, crimson, deeply melancholy
Darkest red, call me to the depths of hell
My colorless heart so very full of acrid, sulphuric ash
Silence bites like the flames
Dark, a cold embrace with a two-faced smile that
Drains me as I sustain myself from the dark tendrils of Hades’ fury
Dark flames that birthed me, killed me,
A new renaissance of Phoenix death

Powerful and thoughtful. Such hypnotic magical alchemical dark flames. Allowing for a rebirth and regrowth of the spirit. Thank you 💗🚀 💗🚀 💗🚀 💗🚀 💗🚀 💗🚀 💗🚀
Sooo mesmerizing! Wow, so many gorgeous lines in here, but that opening sentence is a stunner!!
Well-wrought! The Phoenix rises from its own ashes and banishes all thought of Hell.
Stunning work Melly Gold! 🤯You have a winner on your hands my dear! 🫶🏾
Wow, this one’s intense! I love how the dark flames feel alive, like they’ve got their own attitude. Super dramatic and haunting in the best way. Somewhere a phoenix is taking notes. ✨
Oh wow, that was so intense and poignantly beautiful. Loved your poem!
