How smooth a true dance can be

Her heart was flying,

Her lips were red,

Her hair was dancing,

Her stories unsaid.

His laugh was gentle,

His smile was kind,

His eyes were caring,

His love refined.

Their hands were careful,

Their movements carefree,

They truly felt special,

With each other they be.

The oceans currents.

The salty smell,

The way they held one another,

Oh the things they could tell.

He felt her breath on him,

She saw the colors in his mind,

They saw each other for who they were,

And possibly used to this to be blind.

What they both believed,

The smoothness of their dance,

They felt as if leaves in the wind,

So this is romance...

We must remember that a dance between a man and a woman can be laughable at, especially if neither had experience. But even a clumsy dance could be beautiful if looked at from a different and beautiful perspective.
